GoodLuck singer Juliet “Jules” Harding and band member Ben have announced they are expecting a baby girl in June.

Jules donned pink wings and a headband when the musicians revealed their baby's gender at the Kirstenbosch show on Sunday evening to the audience of 5,000, popping pink smoke bombs in the air during their performance.

“At first this idea honestly seemed a bit extra but we took it to a vote and 96% of you said we only live once and we should do it. So with all that love and all those positive vibes we are excited to do the gender reveal of our little lucky bean,” Jules said.

“It's a beautiful story we can tell the little one one day and pass on the enormous amount of love and joy we have felt performing among the trees for our hometown over the years. I can't think of a more magical spot to celebrate. For the record, we have already told family and some close friends and we are ready to share the happy news with our inner circle of people who love our music.”

This follows after pregnancy announcement earlier this year.

“We are having a baby. I know a lot of you will have questions, and since we are bringing a new little life into this world, I think we are finally ready to tell you about a beautiful, fiery, love story.

“Ben and I have been together for 15 wonderful years. We wanted our music to be the focus and we felt we could build our lives in the background. And let me tell you, what a journey it has been.”
