Lamiez Holworthy-Morule has been giving her followers real FOMO when she jetted off to an island vacay where she has been serving endless bikini looks.

Taking to her Instagram timeline, the Metro FM DJ shared her reasons for taking a breather away from her busy schedule and family.

“This trip was so close to my heart and here’s why- I needed a break. I needed time out and needed to be selfish just this once so I can continue to be selfless,”

Confident baby Leano was in good hands, Lamiez said she was prioritising herself.

“Society makes it seem taboo that a woman, a daughter, sister, a wife, a mom — a new mom at that — would need time away but it takes remembering that you are you before all these other titles. That resting and resetting is necessary and doesn’t take away from you wearing all these hats. The past week is just what my soul needed. As for the mommy guilt? The worst.”

Lamiez has been open about her pregnancy journey, post-partum and going back to work.

She recently shared a snap of herself embracing spring in a colourful dress, and said she was feeling great.

“Dear ladies, if you needed a sign to wear those summer dresses, shorts, bikinis and skirts — even with your big thighs, legs, stretch marks, cellulite and hyperpigmentation — here it is,” she wrote.

“I won’t lie, I almost allowed my insecurities and fears to get the better of me, and then it hit me: I feel amazing. I look and feel amazing, even with the above 'flaws' that society constantly makes us feel uncomfortable about.

“As for me? I know, I see them, I live with them and if I don’t have an issue with them. I don’t see why anyone else should, so here I saved the cyberbullies some trouble and pointed out all they’ve tried to shame me with.”
