Singer Zandile "Zandie" Gumede (née Khumalo) seems to care little about being “cancelled” and X-based cancel culture.

She and her sister have been a hot topic since the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial started.

Taking to her Instagram timeline on Thursday she shared a an X post with the user calling for her and her sister Kelly Khumalo to be cancelled.

Zandie made it clear she would not be bullied, adding she does not care because God has the final say in her life.

Attaching a screenshot of a post asking that both she and Kelly be cancelled, Zandie felt compelled to let “haters” know being cancelled on X (formerly known as Twitter) wasn't a big deal to her.

“I thought you were talking about my sister but I see that you're including me ... You see, I want it to stay in your minds: I don't care. I don't care for this idiotic cancel culture by social media junkies. I decided to do music because I have passion for it and I could do it ... and if I want, I can stop doing it tomorrow without stress. There's no idiot that is going to cancel me. I feel sorry for them because we can't be cancelled ...”

Zandie added that most people seemingly “cancelling” them were part of their fan base and reasoned that their call for the Khumalo sisters to be cancelled was therefore null and void.

“I love music and I could even do it for free if I want. I won't speak for Kelly, but you can do your worst ... I don't care, shame! All you need to know is that I'm not yours, I belong to Jehovah and you will never do anything,” read her post.

Kelly's younger sister recently headed to her Instagram timeline to show herself some love. The singer seemed to be unbothered by the criticism she was getting when she took the witness stand at the trial of five men accused of the murder of Kelly's boyfriend, footballer Senzo Meyiwa.

“The time of shrinking to make others comfortable is over, the time of dimming our light to make others comfortable is over ... the time of suppressing our magic to make others comfortable is over. Zandile Lorraine Khumalo, you are a warrior, uliqhawe, and I fall in love with you every day,” she wrote.
