Radio personality Karabo Ntshweng-Molotlhanyi says married life has been really nice.

In a recent sit-down with her friend Mantsoe Pout on her Moments with Mantsoe's podcast, she said she and husband David Molotlhanyi are aligned.

Karabo said tying the knot was really not on the cards for her.

“For me, it was never really an important thing. Maybe it was because I was raised by a single mother and my grandmother was divorced as well, so marriage was never really something I understood,” she said.

When asked how they are now as a married couple and what people see, she said they share so much.

“I think what is becoming truly beautiful is realising more and more now that we are married by how compatible we are. I'm realising how much we share the same values because those things start to become important and are very reflective in situations like that. You actually start to realise that we are a couple that is aligned.”

Speaking to TshisaLIVE at the time, Karabo said her partner asked her to marry him on her birthday while on their Cape Town getaway, and it was easy for her to say yes because she'd always known she wanted to spend the rest of her life with him.

“We've been together for a very long time. I've known him since I was 19 so there was really no question about it. Everything happens in God's time and I'm extremely excited,” she said.

“He's my best friend and I don't think anyone understands me as much as he does. He's kind and so patient with me and I can't imagine spending life with anybody else.”

After the engagement the star had her lobola negotiations in December, followed by her lavish bridal shower held in July at Ganico Organic Farm, Muldersdrift.
