Late rapper Flabba's brother Tshepang Habedi said convicted murderer Sindisiwe Mangqele is “too beautiful” for her crime.

On the first episode of new Showmax documentary Imibuzo, Tshepang opened up about the night his brother was murdered and the days leading up to the murder conviction.

“I had mixed emotions, you know, when Sindisiwe was in court, saying all the things that she was saying. That Flabba was violent and all that. I’ve never seen him being violent towards her in their relationship. That I didn’t see ... Sindisiwe also shocked me with that one. But on the other side what would you do? I would want to save my a**,” he said on the show.

Sindisiwe stabbed Flabba in the chest at his Alexandra, Gauteng, home in 2015. She was sentenced to 12 years’ imprisonment for murder and released on parole after serving half her sentence on May 24 2022.

Tshepang said he knows Sindisiwe did not mean to kill his brother.

“She just made a stupid mistake and didn't want to own up to it, which is normal if you want to save your a**, when you realise you are in trouble,” he added.

In a recent episode of Podcast and Chill, Sindisiwe recalled the night of the incident and the last moments before he died.

“We were drunk and tempers were high. We had gone out, got intoxicated and there was a bit of jealousy here and there from his side. You know, like these drunk fights? It just escalated because things were said. We were saying horrible things to each other and it took the wrong turn,” she said.

Sindisiwe said the incident was a mistake because she never wanted to kill him.

“I stabbed him [on] the chest, once,” she said.
